I’ll be posting short reviews of several different YA book subscription boxes over the next few weeks to help people with their holiday gift lists! All of these boxes are so much fun because you get a surprise new release book in the mail (and most come with some pretty awesome book merch). The boxes vary in price, content, and how frequently they’re shipped, so hopefully these comparisons can help you narrow down your choices!

Nerdy Post

Nerdy Post technically might not be a book subscription box, but it still totally fits because it’s full of awesome merch from fandoms most bookworms are obsessed with! The box is $13.95 and ships monthly. Each month features a different fandom from books, TV, and movies. Everything included is an original hand lettered design by Alexis, the Nerdy Post creator!

Every box has 4-6 bookish and decor items like posters, stickers, postcards, etc. This one came with so many amazing quotes from some of my favorite classic books:

The whole box included the green coaster, the orange magnet, the dark red journal, a rolled up poster, the pin of the book spines, a bookmark, sticker, and postcards. They also offer a t-shirt box for the same price/schedule!
